Lauren is an accomplished leadership strategist, executive coach and skilled facilitator to CEO, C-Suite executives, managers, and their teams. She offers over 25 years of expertise in driving organisational effectiveness, enhancing talent management, and building leadership capability. Lauren has robust commercial experience, executive leadership and corporate governance exposure combined with her cross-cultural expertise derived from 15 years of living and working in Singapore.

Lauren has held senior leadership positions with Microsoft, as APAC Director, People and Organisational Development with Credit Suisse, Regional Head of the IT Institute Asia Pacific, Global Programme Leader, BHP Billiton and Project Change and Communications Lead for Rio Tinto. She is Founding Director, of Breakthru Leadership Pte Ltd, operating across Asia Pacific and Co-Founder of two start-up companies in Singapore.

Lauren's approach

Her clients are typically Managing Directors, Chief Functional Leaders (CIO, CTO, CMO, CPO, CFO), SVP/VP’s, Directors, and Managers. Lauren also supports teams from telecommunications, financial services, ICT, professional services, health care, investing and insurance, retail, global resources, manufacturing, and FMCG sectors. She delivers C-suite programs for the Eruditus Executive Education, UUM OYA Graduate School of Business and NUS Graduate School of Business.

Lauren is a founding member of Peter Senge’s Society of Organisational Learning. She strategises and co-creates innovative, pragmatic, and holistic solutions with her clients to lead to effective and healthier organisations and people, by adopting a systems approach to change and transformation. She has an open and energetic style, embodies deep listening, and adopts a non-judgmental relationship established on trust and disclosure with clients. Her mission is to support clients to create, shape and (re)-invent a future that brings success and fulfilment. She brings a creativity and agility in supporting their execution of results. She is energised by the focus on “what if?” and in co-creating the path to getting there.

Personal insights

Preceding her corporate life, she enjoyed a welcome sojourn as a professional squash player and long-distance runner. She co-manages a small farm in the rural countryside of New South Wales, Australia with her partner and soul mate. When not in Singapore, she enjoys the company and temperaments of a small herd of Alpacas – who always provide a welcome challenge, balance, and provocation to her corporate life perspective.
